The Genesis of Écollant
Since its inception in 2019, Écollant has been determined to revolutionize the textile industry. Écollant was born out of the desire to find a sustainable solution to the challenges of recycling textiles made from mixed fibers containing polyamide.
We aim to establish ourselves as a key player in textile recycling innovation, committed to transforming textile waste into reusable resources, thereby contributing to a circular and sustainable economy.
Founded by a passionate team of scientists and textile industry professionals, our French startup has set itself the mission of rethinking textile design and production by incorporating recycled textile waste, starting with used tights.
In 2021, we began our first laboratory research efforts. Our R&D teams are tirelessly working on eco-friendly recycling solutions, with the ultimate goal of producing the first recycled polyamide from mixed fiber textile waste.
